We are a firm of tax consultants, founded in 1995 and headquartered in Potsdam. The founder of the chambers, Mr Thomas Knappworst , Dipl.-Kfm., is a tax consultant. He worked for several years for Price Waterhouse, the international auditors and accountants, in Dusseldorf, Berlin and Magdeburg. where he was primarily active in auditing and tax consultancy as well as in the area of purchase and sale of enterprises. Mr Knappworst comes from an old Braunschweig family of entrepreneurs www.knappworst.com.

We currently employ 55 people. We cover all types of tax advisory services and place special emphasis on consultancy in the following:

• business start-up,
• restructuring,
• funding and financial restructuring of companies,
• support during purchase and sale of enterprises,
• business succession,
• the introduction and development of accounting systems including cost accounting.
